15mm Rod Bracket & Rosette Mount for Universal Dovetail

Description Tired of clunky baseplates and overly-complex cages? With the 15mm Rod Bracket and Rosette Mount for Universal Dovetail, you can streamline your rig. Mounting to the Universal Dovetail with just a handful of turns of a Hex Key, the Bracket features a pair of ARRI rosettes – ideal for hand grips like those in our KASBAH range – as well as a 15mm rod bracket, set to the 15mm LWS standard width. Perfectly complementing the Halo Universal Camera Cage, the Rod Bracket and Rosette Mount is simple yet effective for low-profile rigs. For the Universal Dovetail The Rod Bracket and Rosette Mount attaches to the front of the Universal Dovetail via two 3/8” anti-twist screws. In other words, it takes moments to install, with a clean and low-profile look that is perfect for smaller rigs. 15mm Rod Support With the Bracket, you can add 15mm support rods to the front of your setup, thanks to the two independent rod mounts. Set to the 15mm LWS standard width, this allows you to attach a range of accessories – including our Halo Universal Camera Cage. Please note that the bracket will not be at the 15mm LWS standard height for every camera, and will need compatible risers or shims to reach the correct height. Dual ARRI Rosettes The second part of the Rod Bracket and Rosette Mount is of course the dual ARRI rosettes. Used primarily for mounting hand grips, the rosettes are conveniently spaced away from the Dovetail itself, for comfort when shooting handheld footage. Easy Operation To match the convenience of the Universal Dovetail, the Rod Bracket and Rosette Mount is designed to be as easy to use as possible. The rod brackets are tightened and loosened via a winged-lever clamp, which can be operated easily even when wearing gloves or in difficult terrain. The 15mm Rod Bracket and Rosette Mount is designed to mount to the Universal Dovetail, via two 3/8” screws. The rod bracket is operated without tools via two winged-lever clamps, with the brackets themselves set to the standard 60mm width for 15mm LWS setups. Please note, however, that the Bracket does not set the correct height and you will require additional risers or platforms.
