Instructions/Assembly The Fujifilm GFX ETERNA Advanced Cine Kit comes with all required components and screws. You will require your own 3mm and 4mm Hex Key, as well as a flathead screwdriver, to install them. Top Plate (Front) to Camera 1. Align the Top Plate’s captive screws with the two 3/8” screw threads on the ETERNA. 2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to secure the Top Plate to the camera. Top Plate (Right) to Camera 1. Align the Top Plate’s 3/8” screws with the bottom two 3/8” screw threads on the ETERNA’s right side. 2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to secure the Top Plate to the camera. Top Handle to Top Plate 1. Loosen the Top Handle’s winged-lever clamp and slide it onto the NATO rail on the front of the Top Plate. 2. When positioned, tighten the Top Handle’s clamp. Universal Dovetail to Camera 1. Align the captive 1/4″ and 3/8” screws with threads on the base of the ETERNA. The screws can slide along the length of the dovetail to help balance larger lenses. 2. Use a flathead screwdriver to attach the Dovetail to the camera. Side Rib Brace to Universal Dovetail 1. Use a flathead screwdriver to remove the screw from the Side Rib Brace. 2. Place the Side Rib Brace on top of the Universal Dovetail and insert the screw through the bottom. 3. Use the flathead screwdriver to reattach the screw through the Dovetail to the Side Rib Brace. Rod and Rosette Bracket to Dovetail 1. Align the two 3/8” screws on the top of the Bracket with the threads on the base of the Universal Dovetail. 2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tighten both screws into place. Side Rib to Top Plate 1. Align the Side Rib with the left or right lip on the Top Plate. 2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to tighten the screw into place. 3. Repeat on the other side with the other Side Rib Side Rib to Side Rib Brace 1. Align the screw at the base of the Side Rib with the corresponding thread on the left or right of the Side Rib Brace. 2. Use a 4mm Hex Key to secure the Side Rib in place. Riser to LeftField Mini Left 1. Align the Riser’s mounting holes with the two M4 threads on the outer edge of the LeftField Mini Baseplate – on the same side as the release clamp. 2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to tightly screw the M4 threads through the Riser and the Baseplate. Middle 1. Align the profile of the middle part of the Riser, aligning the M4 screw threads and ensuring that the Riser plate is centred. 2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to tightly screw the M4 threads through the Riser and the Baseplate. Right 1. Line up the orange safety stop with the corresponding port on the LeftField Mini Baseplate, sliding it in until the M4 screw threads are aligned. 2. Use a 3mm Hex Key to tightly screw the M4 threads through the Riser and the Baseplate. Dovetail to Riser 1. Slide the dovetail plate in through the front of the baseplate, until it is optimally aligned and balanced. Dovetails can only be loaded from the front. 2. When in place, use the ratcheting lever clamp to secure the Riser.
