Crafted from durable alloyed aluminium to match our Drumstix Structural Alloy rods, this pair of joiners enable a smooth connection between rods: creating a unified length without bumps or protrusions—ideal for accommodating a range of camera accessories. Seamless Connection The Rod Joiner has M12 threads at both ends which get inserted into the 15mm rod for a completely smooth, uninterrupted connection. With no bumps or thread protrusions, accessories can be easily attached over the join without interference. The durable aluminium construction ensures that this joiner will maintain its quality over time, standing up to regular use on set. The Rod Joiners are also hollow on the inside for smooth pass-through of cables. Easy Installation Installation is a breeze: simply twist the joiner into the first rod, then attach the second rod on the opposite end. The joiner provides plenty of thread engagement, ensuring a secure connection that won’t come undone on its own, yet remains easy to detach when needed. Instructions/Assembly The Drumstix Structural Alloy Threaded 15mm Rod Joiner ships as a standalone unit and requires no assembly. 1. To install the Rod joiner, twist one end into the corresponding thread on a structural alloy Drumstix rod. 2. From there, you can install a second rod by twisting on the exposed M12 thread on the other end of the joiner. Compatibility The Rod Joiner is compatible with our full range of Structural Alloy Threaded 15mm rods, available in lengths from 3″ to 12″.
